FLORIDA SEOS ITTECH SEGMENT, PUTS ITT TECH IN BATTLEGROUND AGAINST COLUMBUS SEO company
Florida’s Department of Law Enforcement (DLE) is investigating whether a website called “Georgia Tech Seo Optimization” is an illegal pyramid scheme, according to a letter sent Monday to the company by DLE Commissioner Richard Gee.
The Florida DLE has been investigating the company for several months and recently filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General’s Office in order to seize the company’s website, according the letter from Commissioner Gee’s office.
The DLE’s investigation into Georgia Tech Seoan Optimization is ongoing, Gee said in a statement to USA TODAY.
The letter said the DLE received a tip about Georgia Tech’s illegal pyramid activity about a month ago.
It also said that the company had “misappropriated” funds from Georgia Tech for the purpose of marketing itself as a “online training platform.”
Georgia Tech seo optimizers “are not affiliated with Georgia Tech University and are not authorized to participate in the Georgia Tech campus training program,” Gee wrote in the letter.
“Any use of Georgia Tech seoan optimization is not authorized and will not be tolerated.”
The company was not immediately available for comment.
Georgia Tech is one of the nation’s top technology schools, according a report by Business Insider.
Georgia Tech University is the largest employer in Georgia, with more than 10,000 employees, according government data.
Georgia is also a top market for ITT Tech, with sales of $5.2 billion last year.
Georgia’s attorney general’s office is also looking into GeorgiaTech Seo optimization’s use of its business model and business practices, according Gee, who added that “we will continue to work with the company to investigate this matter.”
GeorgiaTech seo optimize is not affiliated in any way with GeorgiaTech University or any other university.
