Seo Company San Jose to close after six years in business
Seo, one of the most prominent Hawaiian online resellers, is shutting down.
It announced the closure in a post on its Facebook page on Friday.
The company said it was closing its online retail stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The company was founded in 2007 by former Hawaiian-born businessman Paul Dias.
Its largest business is in Hawaii.
Its main focus was online travel, but it also sold products for restaurants and stores.
The Hawaiian brand was once the flagship brand for Hawaiian Airlines.
It is now owned by Hawaiian Air, which owns Hawaiian Airlines and JetBlue.
The news comes amid a national shake-up in online retailing.
The Federal Trade Commission has warned businesses that they are liable for deceptive or unfair business practices, and the Federal Communications Commission has announced plans to regulate online retailers.
